GStreamer on TI DaVinci and OMAP
DM365 support for audio and video decode has been added to the trunk. Currently audio is supported using ARM side libraries such as mad. Video encode will be added at a later date.
This support will be available in the next release (1.10) scheduled for 3Q09.
We are migrating to a single tracker. New defects, to-do, and features should be added to the TI GStreamer Development tracker. We will continue to work on and close items in the older trackers - none will be lost.
The reason for the change is to address issues with properly updating tracker entries when we create a release, to make tracking patches easier (there is no patch tracker, just add the patch to the appropriate unified tracker entry), and to make queries easier since there is only one tracker. It will likely take a couple of months before all the old tracker entries of completely processed and closed.
