after messing around with the camera on our board I have some questions somebody might be able to answer. I'm using one of the most recent kernels (2.6.27-something)
1) The camera is able to give me YUYV, UYVY or plain bayer pattern based buffers. Does anybody know if there is a way to get RGB, or if this will be somehow available with one of the upcoming updates of the driver?
2) I was able to get out grayscale images taking only the Y component of the YUYV images. However, I did not find a way to decode the color image. Everything I tried (and that was a lot!) gave me a pink image, but that was it. I tried bit-reversing of U and V but that did not help either. Even Matlab was not able to give me a correct color image, whatever I tried. Can anybody provide me with some code snippet (or at least the right idea) to get a correct 24bit color image?

I don't have any solutions to your problem, but am curious to know how you were able to get plain Bayer pattern images from the sensor on OMAP Zoom? The sensor supported on OMAP Zoom is ov3640 right?
